We are delighted to share the announcement of a new Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Petards Joyce-Loebl and the University of Huddersfield, supported by Innovate UK.
The collaboration will bring together the University’s academic expertise with Petards’ extensive experience in developing and supporting safety-critical onboard rail systems. The project will focus on creating an integrated cybersecurity infrastructure, including automated digital certificate lifecycle management and secure over-the-air software updates.
This represents an important step in strengthening our operational technology cybersecurity capabilities, embedding deeper PKI expertise within the business and developing compliant, scalable cyber-resilience services for the UK rail sector.
