We are delighted to have further strengthened our team with the appointment of Jack Teichman to the role of Rail Engineer.
An experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, Jack joins Petards Rail having held a breadth of engineering roles such as Product Engineer, Configuration Engineer and Outfit Engineer, across a variety of industries including defence and electricals.
He also holds a BSc Mechanical Design and Manufacturing focused in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Plymouth.
In his role as Rail Engineer at Petards Rail, Jack will undertake proactive engineering. A diverse role, this will include fault and data tracking to identify trends, as well as to find causation and solutions where needed, and updating technical documentation. In addition, he will engage and interface with our customers, supporting them with questions and queries they may have from a technical point of view.
Speaking of his appointment, Jack said: “I am thrilled to join Petards Rail as Rail Engineer. It was the nature of the role that initially attracted me to this position, from being onsite and hands-on to driving continuous improvement and addressing challenges.
“As an engineer, I want to improve things for the good of the company and the customer. Be this improving our processes and efficiencies, enhancing our technology or eliminating faults, where applicable. I am keen to use my experience to further advance our offer and customer satisfaction. I am truly looking forward to what the future holds at Petards Rail.”
