05 October 2026

The last few weeks have taken us from DVD2026 in Millfield to InnoTrans2026 at Messe Berlin. Both events have been extremely worthwhile.
It has been great to see some of the latest developments across Defence and Rail, but for our team, the greatest value has been in the conversations, meeting new people, reconnecting with existing contacts and discussing the engineering and operational challenges organisations are trying to solve.
Across both sectors, many of the themes are surprisingly similar: dependable systems, better situational awareness, increased connectivity, cybersecurity, AI-enabled assistance and the challenge of introducing new capability without compromising the trusted core.
We have made a number of new connections, opened up some interesting potential collaborations and identified several discussions that we look forward to continuing. That is ultimately what makes exhibitions valuable. The technology starts the conversation, but collaboration is what turns ideas into useful engineering.
There is plenty to follow up on over the coming weeks, and we are excited to see where some of those discussions lead.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us, share ideas and challenge our thinking.
